Sap Implementation Lead

We have an initial 6 month contract for a highly skilled SAP Implementation Lead to oversee an inflight program with a system implementation.This role involves leading a small team, managing project plans, and ensuring successful integration and user acceptance testing of the system, which enhances safety, work packaging, and efficiency for field workers.Key Responsibilities:Implementation Lead Services:

• Oversee team members for delivering designated scope/work packages within the program.
• Produce and maintain project plans in line with the Program Schedule.
• Manage completion of all actions within the plan to meet time, cost, quality, and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with external vendors, internal teams, and the internal team to ensure project success.
• Source additional resources as required.
• Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating to the Program Manager as necessary.
• Provide weekly status updates to the Program Manager.
• Ensure efficient and transparent communication and engagement with stakeholder groups and other program teams.

Test Lead Services:

• Oversee SAP master data analysis and data cleanup requirements.
• Coordinate system integration testing and user acceptance testing, working collaboratively with product vendors.
• Manage issue and defect identification and resolution activities.
• Produce and execute scripts for system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Contribute to change impact assessments, technical content for communications, and future process requirements.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Excellent project management and people management skills
• Deep knowledge of asset management and asset maintenance best practices within an SAP context.
• Practical application of the Plant Maintenance module and Asset Management within field delivery teams.
• Knowledge of SAP Finance and HR/HCM modules.
• Experience in SAP master data analysis, data cleanup, and documentation of business rules.
• Expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance Configuration, SAP Plant Maintenance Technical, and SAP Plant Maintenance Business processes.
• Proven experience in testing strategies and plans for complex IT projects.
• Strong implementation planning and delivery skills with the ability to manage small teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
