As we embark on the next stage of our ambitious growth plan, we are currently recruiting for a Financial Systems Implementation Lead join our Finance Department at our Head Office in Preston.
About the role
Working closely with wider Finance and Technology teams, the Financial Systems Implementation Lead will be responsible for:
- Driving the implementation Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations (D365) and various technology solutions from a finance perspective
- Assist the team transition to business as usual
- Ongoing product management/optimisation to ensure continuous improvement of processes, policies, controls and governance
Role responsibilities:
Business Partnering: Demonstrate excellent business partnering skills, including analytical knowhow, written & verbal communication & team participation
Best practice: Research and advise best practices leveraging the D365 platform
Change management: Support change activities by developing and executing change management requirements. Engage and develop strong relationships with senior leadership, project sponsors, and teams across the organisation. Conduct readiness and impact assessments, assist with coaching and mentoring activities, change communications and continuous improvement recommendations.
Continuous improvements and enhancements: Product Management for continuous improvements and monitoring of the D365 solution with an aim of optimising the usage of capabilities and take up by the team.
Delivery: Liaison between Finance and Technology groups to ensure the delivery of Financial Systems including design, configuration, testing, training, cutover & reporting
Planning: Define workstreams, tasks, milestones, resource planning and dependencies. Support in defining a RACI Matrix.
The successful candidate should have:
Tertiary education (combination of IT and Accounting preferred)
Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 certifications
5 years or more of relevant experience in a similar role, or in a professional services / consulting firm
Desired skills:
CA / CPA qualification
Previous experience in D365 Finance & Operations migration from on-premise Dynamics
