SAP MM/MRP Functional Consultant
Our client, a leader in their field is looking for SAP MM/IM Functional Consultant with strong MRP experience for a project related contract based in Melbourne with some travel to Brisbane.
THE ROLE
In this role you will working on a several projects to roll out new and additional MRP functionality across multiple different sites. We are looking for a well round consultant who can scope out their own work, configure this solution including master data requirements and also train the end user on the new functionality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide best practice advice to business and IT stakeholders to manage SAP Master Data
- Business process review and re-engineering – ability to identify and develop new approaches, drive changes and produce creative solutions.
- Gather and understand business requirements
- Work with Procurement specialists and assist with SAP Master Data enquiries and SAP Procurement cycle improvements
- Manage the technical aspects of a project to create Raw Materials for the Visy Fibre Division
- Provide input and guidance to the business whilst implementing projects
- Provide support for SAP Master Data related initiatives
- Provide go live support
- Write SAP Functional Specifications, including Fiori based configuration
- Carry out testing of changes and drive UAT
- Train end users in SAP Procurement cycle, Master Data, MRP settings
KEY SKILLS
- Strong functional knowledge with in the SAP Manufacturing modules
- Ability to use (Create & Update) SAP Mass data change tools such as Winshuttle, LSMW, etc
- Excellent assessment, design and development capabilities applicable to tasks ranging from simple business processes to architecting and developing sophisticated systems and areas of functionality
- Demonstrated ability in business analysis inclusive of, but not limited to, process analysis, requirements gathering, scoping, documentation and testing of proposed and implemented solutions
- Extensive background and experience with SAP Master Data, Inventory Management, MRP configuration and Procurement cycles, preferably in a Manufacturing related industry.
- Project activities inclusive of systems definition, capture/develop business systems requirements, design/prototype/demonstrate, comprehensive unit and user-acceptance testing, train, definition support procedures, and implementation of varied business solutions under multiple deadlines
- Understanding and ability to provide functional specifications for the development and support
- Ability to identify solutions, document business process change, train and drive the business staff to utilise identified solution.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate and convey information concisely
- Business Analysis skills. The ability to develop requirements with partners, document functional and technical specifications
- Project Management. The ability to scope, manage, report and deliver projects.
- Ability to work as part of a team whilst being self-reliant and able to work independently
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8-10+ years working experience with in SAP Manufacturing modules,
- Deep understanding of SAP Master Data, SAP Manufacturing Materials Management & Procure to Pay Configuration Experience as essential – MRP and Inventory Management
- Experience in delivering IT technical service and process in line with ITIL methodology
- Ability to run training workshops for end users
Although this role is Brisbane based the client is able to have someone based elsewhere in Australia who is happy to travel to Brisbane on a regular basis.
