The SAP Solution Architect role aims to provide expert guidance and knowledge in SAP HR/Payroll solutions to ensure maintenance, support, design, and configuration activities align with service delivery and project objectives. Reporting to the Program Manager, this position is pivotal in SAP Human Capital Management.
Role Specific Duties:
1. Adherence to Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies, and procedures to maintain high-quality, safe work environments.
2. Architectural Leadership: Lead and provide expert advice on architectural and solution design decisions, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure robust solution design.
3. Alignment with Policies and Principles: Ensure alignment with organizational architectural policies and principles relevant to SAP HCM and supporting solutions.
4. Contribution to Program Initiatives: Actively contribute to program initiatives by suggesting improvements to processes, procedures, and tools.
5. Alignment with Operational Strategies: Ensure SAP HCM solution initiatives align with operational strategies and transformation objectives.
6. Solution Development: Develop and design SAP solutions in accordance with best practices, information security standards, and documentation requirements.
7. Review and Guidance: Review system configuration, technical specifications, and procedures to ensure alignment with enterprise roadmap and architectural standards.
8. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure system configuration and technical specifications adhere to recognized departmental and government accounting and human resource policies.
9. Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively assess the effectiveness of SAP HCM solutions, liaising closely with stakeholders to recommend enhancements and address issues promptly.
10. Update and Upgrade Support: Provide guidance for updates and upgrades of the SAP solution in accordance with vendor maintenance schedules, documenting strategies, and standards.
11. Quality Assurance: Provide expert advice and support in completing quality reviews of deliverables to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
12. Solution Design Optimization: Offer expert advice on changes to solution design to maintain robustness, alignment with requirements, and fitness for purpose.
