ABOUT THE JOB:
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders to understand requirements and use cases.
- Documentation: Write functional specifications and design documentation.
- Solution Design: Analyse business requirements and design the solution framework.
- Support: Provide ad-hoc support for various SAS installations and assist end users in resolving issues.
- Maintenance: Maintain and enhance the source code and processing in the current SAS environment.
- System Updates: Perform timely patching of SAS and its components.
- Performance Management: Ensure the performance upkeep of SAS systems.
- Automation: Identify and implement automation possibilities to reduce repetitive work.
THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE:
- Experience: Five years or more experience in supporting SAS landscapes.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting (capable of developing code).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving experience.
- Installation: Proven experience in SAS installation in large-scale environments.
- Programming: Skilled in at least one programming language (preferably Python).
- Linux Proficiency: Hands-on experience on Linux Platform as a Linux administrator or SAS application with Linux as the underlying operating system.
