More About the Role:
An exciting and unique opportunity presents itself for a Pharmacist to join the wonderful team at Prince of Wales Hospital. This role will cover dispensary pharmacist duties with on-the-job training provided for the successful applicant.
It is a great opportunity to develop hospital pharmacy skills across a number of disciplines.
Community pharmacists are encourage to apply, as this is a great pathway to transition into hospital pharmacy!
What You'll Be Doing
Prepare medication profiles
Contribute to a multi-disciplinary team in providing patient centered care and expert professional knowledge
Dispense and supply medications in line with legal and professional requirements
Clinical liaison with the relevant hospital wards and clinics
Assist with business and process improvement.
What You’ll Need
A current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
Membership with a Professional Indemnity Insurance provider
A patient-centric mindset, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude
Have excellent attention to detail
A desire to learn and thrive in a rapidly evolving industry
A vibrant personality and excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Hospital experience is highly desirable but not essential
Current Covid-19 vaccinations as per Public Health Orders
