Our mission is to help more people to hear.The OpportunityThe Manager, Customer Software Product Delivery is responsible for the product planning and delivery processes for a number of products in Cochlear’s software portfolio. The 2 key accountabilities of the role are on strategic portfolio management and on the growth of the project leads working on the portfolio.The person successful in this role will need to be a strong collaborator, working closely with many departments in Cochlear. They will also need to have proven excellence in process improvement, particularly in Agile methodologies.They play a pivotal role in bridging technical and business realms, forming partnerships, and holding primary accountability for relationships and interfaces with various teams.This role will have direct reports and will be expected to coach team members for growth provide feedback on individual and team performance. Proven experience in growing a team is expected.AccountabilitiesExecute delivery of the product and services plan (PSP) for softwareContribute to the definition of the product and services plan (PSP) and Vision for CSOwn CS product definition and monitoring; influence the technology plan for CSForm strategic partnerships across groups within the organisationRequired SkillsBachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience.5-10 years of relevant software experience including project management, product owner, architecture and software development experience.Strong knowledge of software-specific agile project management methodologies and development practicesStrong knowledge of medical device regulations as they pertain to software.Ability to understand and discuss technical issues at both a high and low level.Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams to make decisions.Experience in coaching and leading a team.Excellent influencing and leadership skills.People Management experienceCochlear’s mission is to help people hear and be heard.
