Murray Irrigation is a public company that maintains one of the largest water delivery systems in the country and provides irrigation water to over 2,200 farm businesses, landholdings and environmental projects in excess of 7,000 square kilometres across the Southern Riverina in NSW.
Reporting through to our Mechanical Planner, we are looking for a SCADA Technician to join our Water Delivery Team.
The perfect candidate will:
- To perform installations, enhancements, and improvements to field based SCADA equipment.
- To maintain process controls, communications, data acquisition, low voltage electrical instrumentation equipment and associated hardware.
- To perform evaluation, selection, installation, and configuration of field-based devices.
- Implement preventative maintenance site inspections & follow schedules as per MIL policy.
- Investigate problems to identify solutions to maintain and improve MIL Infrastructure.
- Maintain system & vehicle inventory and equipment as required.
- This role would be suited to someone with an Electrical, Automotive Electrical or Communications background
