We are looking for a skilled and experienced, ticketed scaffolder to join our Team as a Leading Hand. You will be responsible for coordinating a crew in erecting and dismantling scaffold structures for a variety of construction and maintenance projects. As a Leading Hand Scaffolder, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scaffolding Design: You'll be interpreting plans and specifications to determine the most suitable scaffolding design and materials for each project.
- Safe Erection and Dismantling: Your expertise will be crucial in erecting scaffolding structures safely and efficiently while adhering to safety regulations and standards.
- Regular Inspections: You'll conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures, identifying potential hazards or defects, and taking swift corrective actions to maintain safety.
- Project Completion: After project completion, you'll be responsible for dismantling scaffold structures, ensuring all components are accounted for and stored safely.
- Collaboration: You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and fellow crew members to ensure scaffolding requirements are met, and projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A valid scaffold ticket with a minimum of 2 years experience in scaffolding
- A valid White Card / General Construction Induction Training Card
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to coordinate and lead a team of up to 6 pers.
- A valid Driver’s License and car – As you will be required to get yourself to and from different site locations, a driver’s license and your own car is a must have.
