THE ROLE
As a scaffolding/temp works supervisor, this team member will play a key role in coordinating, inspecting & monitoring our access systems across the ACT & Sth NSW. Good leadership and communication skills are required to monitor daily progress and implement strategies to ensure productivity, safety and quality targets are met across all sites.
- Problem solve technical access issues for site teams
- Develop team members in the areas of compliance, quality, safety and productivity.
- Conduct site inspections and measures.
- Ensure all access systems are installed in accordance with engineered design.
- Conduct regular inspections of access systems to ensure compliance is maintained.
- Schedule labour teams based on project deadlines and company requirements in coordination with project team.
- Develop relevant content and deliver toolbox meetings and staff training sessions to upskill site teams regarding access systems.
- Complete Scope of Work documents for the purposes of quoting, drafting and installation.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a supervisor in the construction industry
- Intermediate/Advanced Scaffolding Ticket preferred.
- Highly organised and ability to co-ordinate and monitor multiple teams to complete work in accordance with project specifications and Australian standards across multiple sites.
- Good leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members and identify strengths and weaknesses.
- Good Communication skills and ability to multitask and problem solve issues in a timely manner.
- Experience across a range of access systems including but not limited to Scaffold, swinging stage, mast climbers and EWP
