As a Timetable Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of examinations by collaborating with the Team Lead, Data and Systems to create semesterly timetables and leveraging the capabilities of Exams Manager by Databee (Filemaker solution). You'll be responsible for configuring, testing, and analysing the system's functionalities across various scenarios. Additionally, you'll liaise with internal stakeholders to design integrations, test data flows, and assist in data mapping. Furthermore, you'll conduct insightful reporting on Examinations and Graduation activities, performing data analysis to identify potential errors impacting these processes.Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the data lifecycle for examinations: sourcing, cleaning, transforming, and analysing data - including venues and subject delivery modes - to prepare the Examinations System for simulations and smooth operations.
- Running timetable simulations to determine the viability of different delivery models.
- Spearheading the creation of examination timetables, including designing the process, documenting procedures, and training team members for efficient execution.
- Contribute to graduation success (August & December) by scheduling students, managing communication data, and ensuring smooth ceremony data flow.
- Relevant tertiary qualification with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
- Demonstrated experience in producing a timetable in dedicated software or similar large-scale mathematical exercise/modelling
- Experience in manipulating and analysing data, and speaking to/presenting insights to inform operations
- Knowledge in database management, Power Query, Power BI, Python, utilising APIs/web services or VBA/advanced Excel formulas is desirable
