Exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer, temporary full time role with a view to extend to support the CICADA Service in the Department of Adolescent Medicine.

What you'll be doing

The administrative position will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary and medical team in the CICADA Service located in the Department of Adolescent Medicine at The Sydney Children's Hospital Network Westmead Campus.
 
The NSW CICADA Centre offers Care and Intervention for Children and Adolescents affected by Drugs and Alcohol. It is a lifespan approach in a paediatric tertiary hospital with three clinical streams; Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Service, Family Drug and Alcohol Service and Adolescent Drug and Alcohol Service. The Administration Officer will support the CICADA Service but will be an integral part of the Department of Adolescent Medicine.
 
The position will provide comprehensive administrative support to the medical and multidisciplinary team of the CICADA Service.

  1. Demonstrated exceptional organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage a high workload, prioritise tasks and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
  2. Demonstrated previous administrative experience.
  3. Highly developed communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team as well as independently.
  5. High level computer skills – Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point.
  6. Previous experience providing administrative services in a tertiary health service environment will be highly regarded.
