What you'll be doing
Responsible directly to the Electrical Engineer for electrical operation, maintenance, installation and manufacture of equipment, services and systems under the control of the electrical workshop of the Engineering Services Department.
Relieve the Electrical Engineer when needed, specifically relating to electrical issues, either in-house or pertaining to contracted services. Liaise with the Engineering Manager during this time on management matters normally part of the Electrical Engineer’s duties.
- Demonstrated experience in a multifaceted maintenance operation environment including experience working with Building Management Control Systems
- Demonstrated experience interpreting control circuitry
- Experience in preventative & corrective maintenance utilising BEIMS or similar system
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- Ability to complete building & management systems request, including work feedback, inventory and general maintenance reports
- Participate in On-call Roster and be available for after-hours call-back in an emergency
- Experience and qualifications in high voltage systems or willingness to undertake same.
