GOAL College is a small, independent Senior Secondary school for Year 11 and 12 HSC students.

About the Role
We’re looking for an Admissions Officer to join our small team at the Forest Lodge (Glebe) school office. This is a hands-on role taking full responsibility for student admissions and also assisting with general administration for the school.
You’ll be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), and will be joining a small team with a good sense of humour. We value teamwork, your ability to work independently and a work-life balance. We also drink a lot of coffee.
About You
We are not a typical ‘private school,’ and you will have the maturity and empathy to speak to parents who may be having difficulties with their child. You will have an inquisitive nature, enjoy talking to people, and will help prospective families determine if our school will be a good fit.
You’ll enjoy being the first contact at the school for prospective families and will have excellent communication and telephone skills, and a friendly demeanour. You'll prefer picking up the phone to sending an email.
You are mature, confident, and responsible, can multitask and handle competing priorities with exceptional attention to detail. We’ll value your ability to show initiative and help out in a small office environment. Your diplomacy skills will be great and you’ll be quick to adapt to new situations.
This role is responsible for maintaining the school’s admissions CRM/database, and making changes to its setup as the College’s requirements evolve. You will be comfortable figuring out and managing new IT systems.
Experience working in a similar role in education is highly regarded, but not essential.
You will be available for an immediate start.
