Assist in managing the international and transfer student admissions process and recruiting strategy
Assist in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive International and Transfer Student recruiting program.
Create strong partnerships on the ACU campus to ensure the support of international and transfer students.
Essential Duties
Assist in managing the international and transfer student admissions process and recruiting strategy
Support the Associate Director of International and Transfer Admissions and the admissions processes for prospective international and transfer students
Achieve goals set for admitted and enrolled students.
Advise prospective students and their families of admission requirements and financial aid process and status.
Assist in managing vendor and agent relationships specific to international and transfer enrollment
Assist in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive International and Transfer Student recruiting program.
Responsible for recruiting students and achieving enrollment goals in academic quality and diversity as well as building positive relationships with the ACU community and network.
Maintain consistent communication with both prospective students and applicants.
Coordinate and/or assist with events on and off campus, including weekends when necessary, and as assigned by the Associate Director.
Travel both in and out of Texas to promote ACU for recruiting purposes.
Responsible for completing office duties, included but not limited to: admissions/financial aid visits with prospective students, campus tours when needed, receiving inbound calls, and other duties as assigned by the Associate Director.
Create strong partnerships on the ACU campus to ensure the support of international and transfer students.
Work with the Director of Enrollment Visits and Events to ensure international and transfer students transition to ACU well.
Establish and maintain a strong relationship with the Academic Program Departments of ACU and the advisors for each program.
Understand US immigration regulations associated with F-1 and J-1 students.
Work with immigration specialist to help international students navigate immigration process
Work with Registrar's office to help prospective students in the transfer course articulation process

Qualifications
A. Related bachelor's degree required (master's degree is preferred).
B. University admissions experience preferred.
C. Knowledge on domestic ethnic and cultural issues.
D. Bilingual is preferred.
Physical Demands
A. Work extended hours at certain times of the year.
B. Work some weekends if necessary.
C. Work evenings when needed.
D. Travel as needed.
E. Able to handle stress well (high volume and high-speed demands).
