The role
The Cleaner will be responsible for the effective, efficient and safe cleaning of designated areas.
Working as a part of the College’s Cleaning Team, this role involves the cleaning of Boarding Houses and other areas in support of our educational and residential programs.
Status: Part-time, term-time (Paid during the school terms)
Hours: 20 per week (Mornings – Monday to Friday)
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- The ability to bring a customer-focused approach to your work.
- A positive, happy demeanour that contributes to supporting a pleasant working environment.
- The ability to carry out physically demanding duties such as vacuuming, mopping and window cleaning.
- The ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements including the safe use of chemicals and manual handling procedures.
All applicants must be able to hold a Blue Card for child-related employment in Queensland.
