About the role - The School Officer – Mission Assistant is a member of the College Support Team working to support the day-to-day operations of the College, with particular reference to the Mission and Religious life the college.
Role Description:
- Support the Mission, Values, and Identity of the College as a Catholic School in the Mercy Tradition.
- Provide strategic and organisational support to develop and maintain the religious life of the College including participation and planning of liturgy and prayer.
- Give expression to social justice and Mercy in Action initiatives.
- Develop and nourish a collaborative approach to partnerships within and beyond the College including Parish life.
- Support the Mission Team consisting of the Assistant Principal Community Engagement and Mission and the Program Leader Mission.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
