About the position
We are seeking to employ a qualified Secondary Teacher to teach General Sciences 7-10 and Stage 6 Physics.
Our Science Department is dedicated to cultivating student success in Secondary Schools. We are seeking a teacher who can spark engagement and inspire curiosity in Years 7 to 12 and Physics leveraging technology for innovative classroom learning.
The key responsibilities of the position include:
- Planning, programming, and teaching of junior science, with the ability to teach Stage 6 Physics highly desirable.
- Commitment to delivering content in a dynamic and engaging way.
- Inspiring students to achieve their best results.
This role commences Term 3
Key Selection Criteria
- Have current accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
The salary package for this position is in accordance with the Independent Schools of NSW Support & Operational Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021/ Independent Schools of NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021.
