About the Role
Are you experienced in Screen/Media/Film, enjoy making new contacts and commercially oriented? This could be your new role! Our Scripted department is on the lookout for a strategist who understands the script journey from concept to TX. Working alongside the Head of Scripted, the role will include:
- Staying abreast of local and international screen, audience and financing trends and interpreting those to help direct new audiences to the ABC.
- Identifying synergies within the ABC to cross pollinate script/show opportunities including, Marketing, Commercial Aquisition's, Factual, Podcast and News.
- Identifying process simplifications and efficiencies.
About You
You are a screen content generalist who can identify opportunities for the scripted team and translate these into action. Ideally your skills and experience will include:
- Outstanding people skills that can leverage solid relationships within the screen industry into scripted growth opportunities.
- Strategic understanding of the influence of audiences on Scripted Slate curation.
- Sophisticated communication skills within the Screen team and with major internal and external stakeholders.
- International experience associated in the screen/film/ media industry, including audience and financing trends would be an advantage.
