Hotel Night Manager

Join the team at The Ville Resort-Casino and Ardo Hotel as a Hotel Night Manager, working across two properties to ensure the overall night activities of the Hotel are in accordance with our policies and procedures and assist in the day-to-day operation and administration of the Hotel. The Night Manager will act as a representative of the Managing Director to oversee hotel operations during the night shift.THE ROLEIn this role, you will be overseeing all front office and hotel procedures, offering guidance to night shift workers to ensure smooth operations at all times. Your responsibilities will include maintaining hotel policies and procedures, managing hotel inventory, addressing customer concerns, fostering teamwork, overseeing amenities and promoting safety. You will overseeing the various hotel departments to ensure compliance with regulations and the appropriate implementation of all requirements. The role will include business and financial statistical analysis, including revenue audits, and will require you to nurture open communication between hotel departments to promote a collaborative and cooperative work environment.ABOUT YOUTo be considered for this position, you will need:- Previous experience in hotel management and a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations
- Tertiary qualifications in hotel management or in a business-related discipline (preferred)
- Experience in leading professional hospitality/hotel teams within a large corporate organisation or on-site property
- Demonstrated ability to develop productive relationships between departments/workers and managing and driving change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
- Experience with property management systems and software (e.g. Opera Cloud)
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Professional attitude and presentation
