A highly skilled self-propelled Spray Rig Operator is invited to join a small team for the sowing season.
The RoleAn established family-run operation that focuses on cropping and sheep farming on the Southern Slopes of NSW is currently looking for a highly skilled Spray Rig Operator for the upcoming sowing season, with the potential for ongoing work.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience and be confident in maneuvering the Case Patriot 4430’s 120ft boom and calibrating their own mixes and associated documentation. The Spray Rig Operator will be responsible for carrying out all spraying activities and should have good attention to detail to ensure that the crops are adequately protected.
The successful candidate must be able to work autonomously, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and assist with other cropping activities as required. General mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills would be advantageous, as the role may require performing minor maintenance and repairs to machinery and equipment.
The family operation is equipped with modern machinery and a small team of staff who will welcome the successful candidate into their team. The Spray Rig Operator will be an essential member of the team, contributing to the successful growth of the crops and ensuring that the operation runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Offer

The property is within a short fifteen-minute drive from Junee, providing easy access to all necessary amenities. The larger city of Wagga Wagga is approximately sixty kilometres to the property's southwest and provides plenty of amenities and options to explore.
The Ideal Candidate
The candidate we are seeking will be an experienced self-propelled Spray Rig Operator with the following:
- Chemical certificate
- Basic agronomic knowledge and ability to calibrate mixes and document.
- Attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills
- Willingness to work actively within a team.
- General cropping knowledge.
