About the role
ARC is looking for a new team member to join our Hemmant branch as a 2nd Class Welder
You'll become part of a small yet high-performing team where your responsibilities will include achieving KPIs and fostering a safety-first culture. Being a part of ARC provides a valuable chance to acquire hands-on experience in steel processing, pre-fabrication, and distribution. It also opens doors for career progression and development opportunities.
The shifts for this role will rotate however you will need the availability to work 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
As a key member of the team you will:
• Welding pre-fabricated steel cages & gates
• Operate an overhead crane and forklift
• Occasionally help load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers
• Promote and contribute to a safe workplace
About your experience
To be successful in this role you will value collaborative working environments and promote a safety-first culture. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume role that requires attention to detail and time management skills to meet KPIs.
Our ideal candidate will have:

• Experience as a 2nd Class mig welder
• A safety focused mindset
• Thrives in a team environment
• Forklift license and experience (not essential)
