Suncoast Christian College is established as a ministry of Suncoast Christian Church, a member of International Network of Churches Australia. Situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, this well-established Pre-prep to Year 12 co-educational, Christian College of over 1000 students.
The College is seeking a passionate and suitably qualified Secondary English Teacher for Semester 2, commencing 15 July 2024 and concluding 28 November 2024.
The role is 0.6FTE across 4 days teaching Year 8 English and Year 11 Literature. Teaching days are Monday to Thursday.

Skills, qualifications and abilities required will include:
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to relate well to students, parents and staff,
- Demonstrated ability in the preparation and maintenance of appropriate records/reports
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles associated with the development needs for children of Secondary School age
- Ability to develop trusting relationships with family members and build positive connections with all members of the school community
- Knowledge and commitment to providing a Christ-centered curriculum.
