Secondary English Teacher

Our client is a small school situated on the edge of Grafton in the lovely Mid North Coast, who is currently looking for a Secondary English Teacher to join the campus. Immediate start with Tuesday to Thursday roster - enjoy a long weekend every week!

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver to Secondary English teacher expectations around lessons that are well prepared and varied
• Asses the competence and skills of students whilst maintaining WH&S (Work Health & Safety) guidelines
• Participate in your Continuous Learning Journey by being part of the school's professional development program
• Engage students and select and use innovative learning strategies to inspire creative and critical thinking, problem solving and cooperative learning
• Support the co-curricular program

Role Requirements:

• Relevant NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) and WWCC (Working with Children Check)
• Supportive of ethos of independent faith-based education
• Demonstrated strong IT skills
• Willingness to be involved in K-12
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
