We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher on a permanent part-time basis to design engaging and inspiring learning experiences that encourage students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a talent for creating vibrant, effective lessons.This is a 0.6 Permanent Part-Time position commencing Term 3, 2024.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver captivating music lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students.
• Instil a love for music and inspire students to explore their musical talents.
• Implement a curriculum that includes a variety of music genres and styles.
• Use data-driven methods to personalize and enhance student learning experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's Vision and Strategic Plan.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth, self-reflection, and collaboration.
• Uphold and promote the school's Christian values as an Anglican institution.
• Participate in the school's extra-curricular activities program, may include weekend involvement.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Adhere to the AITSL Standards at the appropriate level.

This role will primarily be based within the Senior School, however, assistance in the Junior School choir and ensembles will be required.Essential Criteria:

• Possess a current Working with Children Check.
• Hold registration with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA).
• Proven record in delivering HSC subjects to all levels and using digital technology for student and teacher learning
• Hold an appropriate degree relevant to the Secondary Music Teacher position.
• At least 2 references from your most recent employer.
• Full working rights in Australia

Desirable Criteria:

• Exposure to and understanding of string instruments
