Position status: Ongoing Full-Time
The successful applicant will:
Know the students and know how they learn through an inclusive and learner-centred pedagogy
Teach years 7 and 8
Know the content and how to teach it with expertise as a Music teacher including a mix of pedagogies, instructional strategies and technologies i.e. notation programs, digital audio workstations, sound systems etc. Applicants will also need to manage the tuition and ensemble programs. Ability to lead instrumental and worship ensembles, and direct large group singing rehearsals preferred.
Assist, lead and collaborate with the learning team to design and produce highly effective teaching programs reflecting data, the strategic direction of the College, the curriculum, and resources
Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, academic and pastoral dimension of College life.
Asses, provide feedback, and report on student learning
Participate in staff professional development in partnership with the College
Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community inclusive of producing events, concerts, and performances for the College and the wider community

Qualifications and accreditations:
Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree)
