My client, an Independent Catholic College in Forbes, located in a peaceful rural setting with state of the art facilities, is seeking dynamic teachers to commence in 2024.
We are looking for passionate individuals that wish to make a positive difference in the lives of students, inspiring their minds, hearts and spirits within a Catholic Marist community that has a family and community feel.

Roles available:
- Mathematics teacher
- French teacher
- HSIE teacher
Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding and promoting the Marist and Catholic ethos of the College
- Demonstrate knowledge, competence and confidence in the relevant subject discipline
- Plan and deliver lessons based on curriculum standards and educational objectives
- Create engaging and effective instructional materials and resources
- Modifying teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Demonstrate commitment to teacher professional development
- Carefully follow the NESA Syllabus Documentation, preparing scope and sequence statements, programs and planning lessons accordingly
- Keeping a record of curriculum delivery (e.g. A teacher's chronicle / day book or similar)
- Keeping registers for the classes taught up to date and evaluate units of work
- Attend briefing sessions, general staff meetings, Faculty and House meetings as required
Requirements:
- Current NESA accreditation to teach in NSW & current NSW Working with Children Check
- Have a passion for teaching the relevant subject area(s) and relevant teaching experience
- Have recognised Tertiary Educational Qualifications
- Be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
