Concordia Lutheran College is seeking passionate, highly professional and suitably qualified teachers for a range of fixed-term secondary (Years 7 - 12) teaching positions, commencing in July 2024. Both full-time and part-time arrangements will be considered.
Teaching Opportunities Available:
12 month Part-time Contract (0.6FTE)
- 8 July 2024 – June 2025
- Design and Digital Technologies Teacher
- The ability to teach Food and Nutrition (Years 7-9) is highly desirable.
Semester 2 Full-time Contract
- 8 July – 27 November 2024
- English (Years 7-12) & Christian Studies / Religion & Ethics (Years 9-12) Teacher.
- The ability to teach the General Subject of English in Years 11-12 is essential.
Semester 2 Full-time Contract
- 8 July – 27 November 2024
- Mathematics (Years 7-10), Science (Years 7-10) and Senior Biology (Years 11-12) Teacher.
You will be supported by an experienced teaching team who instill in our students the values of learning, compassion, courage, service, excellence, and respect.
To be successful in this role, you will possess Queensland College of Teachers registration and have the ability to:
- Provide a positive and stimulating teaching and learning environment with a focus on evidence-based practice to improve student learning outcomes.
- Implement recognised teaching strategies that cater for individual needs, develop students’ analytical skills and maintain a challenging and engaging learning environment.
- Establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with students, staff, parents and other community members.
- Work independently to plan, coordinate resources, set priorities and achieve outcomes.
