Originally opening its doors in 1929, this iconic establishment, once Australia’s tallest hotel, has undergone a spectacular transformation. Welcome to Bar Morris, the intimate 40-seat Casual Wine Bar that redefines the drinking and dining experience. Since our grand opening in June 2023, Head Chef Rosy Scatigna and our talented team have been weaving magic into every dish and glass.

Position available
Section Waiter/Bartender: Pay is $30.1 - $36.12 per hour (depending on the day of the week and experience level) + TIPS 

Senior Section Waiter: Pay is $31.09 to $37.31 (depending on the day of the week and experience level) + TIPS 

*Full time/ Part time positions are available for a suitable candidate

What this role involves 
As a member of our dynamic team, you'll be the orchestrator of exceptional guest experiences from the warm welcome to the fond farewell. Responsibilities include a thorough understanding of our menu, seamless execution of service, and the ability to manage your section during peak times. It's a fast-paced, professional environment where communication and teamwork shine.
 

  • Thorough understanding of all available food and beverage menu items.
  • Thorough understanding of the order or service, and execution in a timely and accurate manner to achieve superior service delivery.
  • Delivery of exceptional and guest service, ensuring all guests receive the high standard of service required, at all times.
  • Ability to manage a given section during service periods.

  • Experience in a similar role in a dynamic environment
  • Strong knowledge of food, beverages, and wine
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Stellar communication and organizational prowess
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize effectively
  • Hold a valid RSA
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Availability for nights and weekends
