Security and Compliance Senior Analyst

Responsible for supporting and developing operational Security and Compliance system for our Melbourne Cluster, you will be reporting into the Director, supported by the Compliance team nationally, but your key partner will be our Equinix onsite teams and management.
We are looking for someone is an excellent communicator, with strong compliance and/or auditing experience and proactive in their approach to assess needs, prioritise workloads and work accordingly in relation to physical, electronic and all compliance and security needs. The role offers hybrid working conditions Monday-Friday but there is an expectation the successful applicant will be visible to colleagues, contractors, guards and all stakeholders internal and external - ensuring you build positive relationships with those around you.
Key Responsibilities:
Process:
  • Leads physical Security and business continuity rollouts, including compliance programs
  • Likely to run smaller process rollouts, less sophisticated, and with fewer stakeholders
  • May participate in some cross-functional teams to review Security and business continuity processes within the IBX, refine or make suggestions for continuous improvement and support implementation of changes; ensures process adherence
Project Management
  • Contributes and participates in process improvement projects
  • Leads tasks within some cross-functional projects
  • Plans, coordinates and monitors project steps from start to completion (e.g. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of project, conducts meetings)
Support to IBX
  • Analyzes key performance indicators and proposes improvement recommendations to standardize/improve processes
  • Provides day to day support to multiple data center's, and may be responsible for Operations Security & Compliance
Compliance, Audit Support and Data Management
  • Addresses assigned audit findings and tracks them to closure
  • Supports customer audits, RFPs and RFIs
  • Conducts and compiles data for management reporting
Training
  • Reviews and develops content for training materials
  • Conducts security training for all sites in scope within the schedule
  • Identifies training needs for stakeholders
  • Responsible for regular and ad-hoc training (for example, new hire training)
  • Develops industry knowledge
Qualifications, skills and attributes:
  • Hold an Australian National Security clearance of NV1 or above
  • Desired - Auditor experience associated with IOSO27001 and 22301
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to take care of stakeholders in all business units
  • High level of communication both verbal and written and experience working with and managing teams and vendors
  • Experience in designing and delivering security training programs
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience of working within a mission critical facility, or similar
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience undertaking compliance audits
  • Experience in interpreting legislation and developing commensurate documentation that ensure compliance
