Form of workCompas are looking for a Security Assurance Lead to work on a long-term contract within a federal government department.
In this role you will use your SAP Cyber Security experience, Enterprise and Cloud System experience and knowledge to provide best practice guidance and feedback on security controls during the build and documentation of systems.
3-year contract with 2 x 12 month extensions

Responsibilities
- Maintaining cyber security services and security accreditation activities and documentation ensuring alignment of security control implementation activities within the Defence ERP Program by providing Security assurance and governance leveraging ERP and SAP security experience.
- Support ERP Delivery Team, manage and govern activities of the Delivery Partners alignment to ERP methodologies, tools and solution and adoption of Industry best practices, while supporting the program to deliver optimal outcomes and quality targets are met and overall Defence outcomes are achieved.
- Transferring knowledge and demonstrating initiative, whilst at the same time contributing to the knowledge and learning of the staff you are supporting and on occasion taking responsibilities for non-standard solution release related tasks.
- ASD Certified Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) Assessor.
- Relevant Cyber Security Analyst commensurate demonstrated experience to successfully undertake the role and understanding of existing production system landscape.
- 5+ years of proven team leadership experience and has strong communication skills enabling a clear description of the details to key business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated deep understanding of Security Industry best practice and optimised SAP security solution design from an end user perspective as well understanding of best practice design and architecture that optimizes the end user experience.
