The opportunity:
Due to ongoing growth across our Industrial line of business, we have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join our team. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, the Senior HSE Advisor will play an integral role in implementing HSE programs across the business. A “field facing” role that works to coach and support key stakeholders and driving continual improvement of HSE performance across the business.
This role offers the flexibility of choosing your location between our VIC offices in St Kilda Road and our NSW offices in Sydney CBD Salesforce Tower. While occasional travel between QLD, NSW and VIC is required, the role offers a hybrid work model of work from home and office / site based activity.
As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:
- Deliver HSE training to internal and external stakeholders; actively share insights from training sessions; industry conferences and other relevant events
- Actively participate in HSE industry events and share insights
- Coordinate information flow, creating mechanisms to transfer information across organisational boundaries
- Tailor HSE communications to diverse stakeholders' needs
- Attend tender interviews and meetings on contractor HSE procurement requirements and performance
- Review contractor-provided HSE information for compliance against FPIA’s HSE Systems and expectations and ensure teams understand HSE contractor management requirements
- Maintain data integrity using Enablon or similar platforms
- Identify improvement opportunities using data, providing updates on risk profile
- Investigate workplace incidents, ensuring root causes identified and provide lessons learnt to stakeholders
- Ensure required HSE reports are developed prior to submission deadlines
As the ideal applicant you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience within HSE in construction, property, asset management or relevant industry
- Min. Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety
- Lead Auditor Health, Safety and Environment
- ICAM Lead Investigator Construction Induction Card, and Advanced First Aid Application
- High level knowledge across the WHS legislative framework; knowledge in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Demonstrated experience in leading and embedding HSE risk management across diverse, multi-disciplinary environments
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated experience in applying accredited HSE Management systems
