Security is a highly skilled team, playing an important part in making Crown a welcoming place for our guests through maintaining a culture of care and excellence.As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing frontline security services in a professional, customer focused manner to ensure the safety and security of Crown Perth's customers, employees, and property. Your conflict resolution and problem-solving skills will allow you to improve our colleagues and customers experience.In this role, you'll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as:
- Checking ID and ensuring patrons adhere to dress code.
- Addressing undesirable behaviour.
- Escorting staff and patrons to vehicles when required.
- Preventing violent and disorderly behaviour.
- Assisting patrons who wish to be self-barred from the Casino.
- Providing support in medical emergencies.
- Assisting in the transfers of money and chips.
You'll bring the following:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to defuse potential conflict.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and busy environment
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 Provide First Aid)
- Current WAPOL Security Officer and Crowd Controller Licenses
- Current DLGSCI Casino Employee (Security Officer) License or ability to acquire one
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and nights, is essential for this role. Shifts are 12 hours, comprising 2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off.
