SalaryVICNA, a leading nursing agency, is currently seeking experienced and passionate Aged Care professionals to join their team. We are looking for Registered Nurses for casual shifts in various locations across Hobart, Tasmania. As part of our team, you will have the freedom to choose your working hours and locations.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to elderly individuals in residential aged care facilities
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess the overall health and well-being of residents
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards and Australian Aged Care regulations
- Utilise popular Aged Care Systems such as LeeCare, iCare, Autumn Care, or be willing to learn them
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic records of resident care
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Demonstrate proficiency in using email, smartphones, and basic computer software (Microsoft)
Requirements:
- Registered Nurses (RNs) must have current AHPRA registration
- All applicants must possess a valid and current (up to 3 years) National Police Check and NDIS Screening (up to 5 years)
- Manual Handling Training certification is required and should be valid and current
- Current CPR (1 year) and First Aid (up to 3 years) certifications
- Familiarity with the new Aged Care Standards, including SIRS, is desirable
- Good understanding of Infection Control Standards in Australian Aged Care
- Proficiency in using email, smartphones, and basic computer software (Microsoft)
- Must have the right to work in Australia
