This Federal Government Taskforce is leading work across Commonwealth Government agencies to simplify certain sector regulations, modernise outdated ICT systems, and strengthen Australia's economic resilience. As part of this work, this Taskforce is required to communicate these changes to a variety of audiences, such as the public, other government agencies and business stakeholders.
About the role
Work at the Taskforce is fast-paced, requires adaptability, flexibility and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, ever-responsive environment. Reporting to the Assistant Director - Procurement and Contracts, the APS6 Contractor will assist the Taskforce with their procurement, contracting and financial needs.
The Procurement Officer will:
- Provide relevant and accurate advice on financial management, financial policy, procurement, and contracting matters.
- Undertake financial administration and analysis including financial and procurement reporting.
- Assist with internal budget maintenance, including mid-year review.
- Assist the Taskforce in procurement and contracting requirements, undertaking audits to ensure compliance and improve data integrity.
- Develop and maintain good communication channels with relevant stakeholders to facilitate and deliver on the requirements of the Taskforce.
- Contribute to the team's innovation and continuous business process improvement and identify risks and business opportunities.
