We are partnering with a Melbourne-based independent Perfomance Marketing Agency on the lookout for a new superstar SEM Specialist.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Title: SEM Specialist (newly created role in a growing Digital team)
Location: South Melbourne - multiple WFH days/week
Base salary $70k - $85k
Engagement: Permanent position
Ideal Start date: March 2024
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute SEM media strategies across a dedicated client portfolio of high-profile brands.
- Drive client strategies across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads based on best practice guidelines.
- Receive briefs from client and turn them into highly effective SEM media plans that hit or exceed the client's expectations.
- Build and manage media plans ongoing by ensuring budgets and forecasted figures are kept updated.
- Manage campaign processes from end to end - this includes digital media planning, buying and optimising performance to hit your intended targets for the clients.
- Manage campaign budgets, timelines and deliverables to ensure that activity runs on time, and we are utilising the agreed budget efficiently.
- Project manage client campaign across internal teams to ensure that we are hitting deadlines and running a smooth operation.
- Maintain client relationships, becoming the trusted advisor for Digital Strategy & Performance.
- Complete audit for existing and prospect clients to analyse results, identify opportunities and areas to improve ad performance.
- Upskill your Executive and/or Coordinator in digital marketing - planning, ideation, tools, processes, industry updates etc.
- Collaborate with the Snr Account Managers to implement campaign presentations and analysis.
- Min 3+ years digital experience within agency or client side.
- At least two years full time hands-on experience across the SEM platforms (Google Ads & Microsoft).
- Have an exceptional track record of delivering market leading performance.
- Genuine passion for the digital marketing and the power of the platform for advertising success.
- Be able to use their initiative, be dependable and able to take extreme ownership.
- Ability to maintain strong attention to detail while multi-tasking and reprioritising a changing workload.
- Can work well under pressure, and thrive in a high pace, exciting and challenging environment.
- A collaborative and inclusive team player who is motivated to generate new ideas and deliver great work.
- Great stakeholder management skills with the ability to easily build rapport with clients.
- Strong understanding of sales funnels and how to convert interest into revenue.
- Ability to understand results, provide creative data driven solutions to clients.
- Have project and campaign management experience with evidence of success.
- A digital marketing expert who can think quickly on their feet and provide fast and effective solutions to clients.
- Ability to deliver on immediate campaign needs without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Excellent planning skills with the ability to break down bigger goals into smaller objectives with hard deadlines.
- An ideas person who is constantly looking for new ways to help grow our clients' business and improving the way we do things in the agency.
- Capable of detailed analysis and a deep understanding of analytical numbers.
- Hunger for learning and growth.
