SEO/SEM/Content Specialist - Work from Home

1. We're a Health Insurance comparison broker currently experiencing accelerated levels of growth. This is a Unicorn opportunity for you to own our new SEO role and grow with it from the top.
    
2. Work from home and with autonomy. Manage your own days. Optional office locations at Richmond and Cranbourne for Melbourne-based applicants (not required). 
    
3. Our website is performing well on Google with little to no SEO application. We have a respected brand. This is a gold-mine opportunity for the right candidate to build our entire SEO strategy and help us double-down on organic and SEM growth opportunities.

About You

You are a unique SEO and SEM expert that stands out from the crowd. Problem solving comes easily to you and you're known as the team ‘innovator’ or ideas person. Although you are given clear operational guidelines, you often step outside of what's expected of you rather than just ‘do Ok’ and get by.

You are on top of Google trends and updates - always ahead of the curve in a fast changing environment with cutting edge new technologies like AI emerging.

(Bonus but not essential) You can write/create quality content and articles.

About the Role

• Manage all aspects of SEO related to our Wordpress website. On-page, off-page, technical, strategy and development.
• Plan and optimize SEM strategy from ground up
• Strong abilities using SEO tools and reporting like GA, Tag Manager, SEMRush, ahrefs, Wordpress (and/or anything you recommend)
• Suggest and introduce new ways to utilize AI within our SEO/SEM strategy
• Regular reporting and updates with company Director
• Candidates with programming and/or basic website development skills highly regarded (but not essential!)
• We need a growth expert who will take ownership of this space. All ideas are on the table.
• We've just launched two new SaaS products in the health and fintech space, so more opportunities and responsibilities on the horizon.
• Continue building upon our strong, stellar brand based on strong customer feedback reviews.
• Either create quality site and blog content or be adept at working closely with a content creator.
