Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller, responsibilities include:
- Publishing accurate and timely month-end journals, including depreciation, prepayments, and accruals.
- Translating data from company ERP system to internal reports through the use of manual Excel look-ups and pivot tables.
- Investigate and provide variance analysis on month-end work.
- Assistance and preparation of half year and year end financials.
- Assisting with foreign currency and bank account reconciliation.
- Assist on company tax compliance and issues.
- Partnering with a wide range of stakeholders to review and challenge drivers of business performance.
- Improving the timeliness and quality of reporting through automation and process improvements.
The successful candidate is enthusiastic and is motivated to take on a leadership role in the future within the finance function. They also have:
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Experience in a commercial or chartered accountancy role
- Construction, Import or Multinational experience beneficial
- Attitude and mindset to develop into a future leader of the business
- Advanced MS Excel skills
