AddressTasks & responsibilities
- Various positions are open to our practice and your tasks will vary depending on your level of experience.
- Prepare and review of management account and financial statements
- Prepare Activity Statements and tax returns for different structures
- Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed
- Solid taxation knowledge in various complex topics such as Div 7A & UPE, GST on going concern sale and trust distribution to non resident.
- Monitoring lodgement program to ensure ATO lodgement dates are met for income tax, activity statements, STP, TPAR, etc.
- Liaison with ASIC, ATO and clients and answer queries as required
- Experience in Xero Practice Manager and SMSF preferred
About you
- Experience in taxation, worked in public practice firm with good understanding of taxation laws and accounting standards
- A Qualified CA or CPA accountant (or working toward)
- Bilingual in Chinese and English
- Proficiency in utilising Xero, QuickBook and MYOB
- You will be a motivated individual with a positive attitude, professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to communicate complex tax matters in a practical way.
