The Company
Our client is a Melbourne-based accounting and business advisory firm that will provide you with exposure to a broad range of client services. They have a team-based approach to assignments which allows staff to learn from their experience in providing innovative client solutions.
The Opportunity
They are currently looking for a hands-on senior business services accountant to join their firm in a client facing role that will have you working directly with an enviable client list.
Your day-to-day tasks would include:
- End to end file management
- Managing your own client portfolio
- Regular client contact, not just on the phone/email
- Co-coordinating meetings with key advisors and creating strategies
- Liaise with clients and attend client meetings and board meetings
- Tax planning and various projects
- Provide high level business services, commercial and tax restructuring and succession planning advice
About You
- 5 - 8 years of Australian public practice accounting experience
- Degree qualified
- Be CA/CPA qualified
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to build rapport and be a trusted advisor to clients
- Driven to learn and progress in your career
- Ability to take responsibility and initiative
- Excellent communication skills for dealing directly with clients
