SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to provide hands-on support to the business and the Finance Manager in ensuring the effective and consistent delivery of finance functions.
THE ROLE
- Ensure effective financial operations, including invoicing, collections, payments, and other functions.
- Manage payroll functions across the organisation.
- Prepare statutory lodgements including business activity statements, FBT and PAYG.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly consolidated financial reporting and management accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Oversee NDIS plan management and billing functions.
- Responsible for all financial administration.
- Liaise with external stakeholders and auditors with respect to preparation of financial statements and audits where necessary.
- Serve as a backup to the Finance Manager
WHAT TO BRING
- Qualification in Finance or Accounting or related field
- 2-3 years’ experience, knowledge and understanding of finance functions including but not limited to payroll, , accounts reconciliations, and other financial matters.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in supervising junior staff
- Advance level skills in MYOB EXO
- Understanding of financial governance practice.
- **CPA is desirable but not essential
- **Experience in NDIS is preferable
