This role is ideal for a candidate looking to step up into a Finance Manager position for the first time, who is looking for a role with wide breadth and wants a hybrid of BAU, Commercial Finance whilst also utilising their financial accounting foundation. Reporting to the CFO, your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- End of month cycle, including posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analysis of expenditure/costs and provide commentary into movements.
- Maintain integrity of group reporting processes to ensure completeness and accuracy for financial reporting.
- Manage half and year end audit.
- Manage planning processes (budget and forecasts).
- Support the Commercial team with reporting, analysis and insights.
- Continuously look to streamline processes and documentation used for external reporting.
- Manage, coach and mentor an Assistant Accountant

To succeed, you will be a proactive team player and have a passion for helping others at every level.Specific requirements include:
- CA/CPA qualified
- Prior experience in an external audit position in an accounting firm (preferred) or a similar business environment where you have managed the external audit process
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to work to multiple deadlines
- Exceptional communicator with demonstrated stakeholder development experience
