Senior Accounts Payable Officer / Accounts Payable Supervisor

The Role

Reporting to a Senior Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the successful and timely processing of the organisation's supplier invoices and for the meeting of the team's service level agreements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure the successful processing of the organisation's Accounts Payable transactions (P/O's, Invoice, approvals)
• Ensure inbox queries are handled timely and professionally
• Contribute to AP operations, timeframes, scheduling, processing payments, resolving supplier queries and coordinating disbursements
• Complex Supplier reconciliations
• Maintenance of Vendor files and records
• Month-end accruals & prepayments
• Assist with preparation of weekly and month end reporting
• Mentor & assist team members
• Recommend process and procedural improvement

Your Profile

To be successful you will have proven experience in a Senior Accounts Payable role and have an ability to take ownership of the company's Accounts Payable function.

An ability to assist, mentor and coach the team will be essential for your success.

Strong systems experience is also essential for this role as well as working previously in a high transaction environment.
