Looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to lead the AP process and team with this rapidly growing property development company that has experienced substantial expansion.

THE ROLE

• Full function Accounts Payable and leading the Accounts Payable process
• Prepare and execute supplier payments accurately and on time
• Reconcile supplier accounts and address and discrepancies
• Liaise with project management team and vendors to resolve any issues
• Prepare monthly AP reports and maintain construction spend
• Assist with credit card processes and reconciliations
• Assist with month-end closing activities

THE PERSON

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accounting environment, with a focus on Accounts Payable
• Knowledge of the construction and/real estate industry is highly desirable
• Proficiency in Excel, including vlookups, and experience in accounting software, particularly Jobpac
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with subcontractors and team members
• Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude towards issue resolution
• Tertiary qualification in finance, economics, or related field
