Senior Accounts Receivables Officer

About the role 
Our client is a reputable business based in Western Sydney that is seeking an experienced credit controller/ senior Accounts Receivable Officer to start on short notice. You will be managing the receivable function and managing the ledger, with the support of one other account receivable officer.

The responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be mainly responsible for:

• Manage customer ledger
• Banking, Allocation & Receipting
• Bank account reconciliations
• Opening accounts and conducting credit assessments
• Investigation of un-reconciled payments 
• Updating customer accounts 
• Maintaining relationships with customers
• Liaising with the sales team and directing tasks to them
• Cash flow forecasting

The successful applicant will have:

• Excellent experience with end to end accounts receivable experience, including strong experience with opening accounts, credit checks, collections and cash flow forecasting. 
• Excellent communication skills
• A high level of empathy and strong interpersonal skills
• Proactive approach 
• Team player
