Renewable Energy developer who is backed by one of the largest investment firms in this space. They have a massive budget to spend, and the Australian market is their top priority right now. This company focusses on all renewable technologies: wind, solar, BESS, hydrogen, pumped hydro and more! Based in the Melbourne CBD, they are a rapidly expanding team who are looking to take over the Australian market.
Your new role
The
Senior Acquisitions Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technical due diligence and feasibility that goes into acquiring early stage renewable development projects. Based in their beautiful Melbourne CBD office with some of the best views and facilities in the city. You will work closely with the investment team during the initial acquisition stages of large scale wind, solar, and Bess projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualification in either Engineering, Project Management or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in large scale energy project development or acquisition
- High level commercial acumen, familiar with outcomes, business cases, budgets.
- Experience during early feasibility stages of large infrastructure projects, ideally Renewable Energy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including delegation, consultation and facilitating teamwork.
