Your new role
As the Senior Administrator, you will provide high level administrative and financial support that contributes to the effective delivery of the organisation’s operational services, while ensuring compliance with reporting standards and requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide high level administrative, financial, and human resource duties to support the Leadership Team and Management Committee as required.
- Provide expert advice to employees, contractors, and volunteers on organisational administrative, financial, and human resource matters.
- Lead the production of the organisation’s Annual Report and coordinate the Annual General Meeting.
- Monitor compliance with standards and legislative requirements and provide quality assurance making recommendations as part of continuous improvement.
- Deliver human resource requirements from recruitment, induction through to separation, including documentation and records management.
- Assist in managing the organisation’s financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring expenditure.
- Manage the organisational asset procedures, depreciation, and registers. Coordinate the annual stocktake.
- Performing duties as the organisation’s WHS Representative overseeing and administering the organisation’s workplace health and safety practices and support the organisation meeting service obligations under the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
- Assist the Corporate Service Manager and CEO in Requests for Quotes and Tender responses.
- Lead on the delivery of projects, events and initiatives, monitoring milestones and report on progress and outcomes.
- Assist with preparing and meeting the requirements of the Human Service Quality Framework and Associated Audits.
- Administer financial, procurement, asset, and compliance procedures and registers.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following:
- Tertiary qualification in business administration or suitable equivalent or a minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar field with experience in finance and project management is desirable.
- Highly developed knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and an ability to adapt to new systems.
- Experience working in Xero or similar software is highly desirable.
- High levels of attention to detail and the ability to complete and prepare complex documents.
- Well-developed prioritisation and time management skills, including the ability to identify, plan and organise work to meet deadlines.
- Current QLD C Class Driver’s License which must remain current during the term of employment.
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) which must remain current during the term of employment.
- Australia: National Police Check Clearance – at organisation expense.
