About This Opportunity The Senior Administration Officer is responsible for providing high-level administrative and project support to the Centre Director and Chief Operating Officer of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Quantum Biotechnology. The incumbent will support the Centre Director with management of projects, and also ensure the specific needs and day to day requirements of the Centre office are managed in a highly efficient and effective manner.
The role is also responsible for coordinating centre wide events such as the annual workshop and flagship project reviews. As the first point of contact for the Centre Director, this role requires extensive administrative and organizational skills in order to manage a high volume of activity as well as client service skills, tact and diplomacy. Key to the success of the incumbent is their ability to manage and prioritise matters brought to the Centre Director and Chief Operating OfficerResponsibilitiesAdministrationProvide executive level support to the Centre Director and Chief Operating Officer by assisting with diary management, making travel arrangements and developing itineraries, preparing meeting papers as well as ensuring diplomatic and sensitive handling of requests and exercising judgement regarding the urgency of these requests.
