Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with Aurizon's Safety, Health and Environment Team? We're eagerly unveiling an opportunity to join us as a Senior Adviser, Safety Systems and Training. This dynamic role is your ticket to working on a project for the next two years, where you'll be part of a team orchestrating the design and implementation of an improved safety management system (SMS), in a way that minimises impact, but delivers a substantial uplift in simple Safety Systems and processes for our people.
Key Responsibilities:
Evolution of the SMS: Lead the charge in refining and updating our SMS to meet legislative and regulatory obligations, but to be sustainable, intuitive, and flexible with human-centred design principles.
Pioneering Safety Documentation: Craft the blueprints for safety documentation, ensuring our business processes soar to new heights of excellence and agility for our diverse operations.
Collaborative Catalyst: Work hand-in-hand with our front-line leaders to seamlessly integrate SMS modifications across Aurizon businesses, igniting a culture of safety from the ground up.
Front-Line Safety Crusader: Dive into the trenches of site-based safety activities, championing our SMS transformation with passion and purpose.
Analytical Avenger: Harness the power of data to identify trends and unlock opportunities for continuous enhancement of our SMS and training protocols.
