About the role

• Full time (part time options considered)
• Fixed term 12 months (with potential for renewal)
• $95,384 - $100,220 per annum plus statutory superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading

The Senior Advisor, Policy (Respectful Relationships Education (RRE)) role will have a particular focus on supporting evidence-based RRE policy in governments and education systems across the country and will play a key role in supporting Our Watch engagement and strategic policy work in relation to RRE and consent. You will support Our Watch’s work to:

• Continue to build, test, and share the evidence base in relation to RRE.
• Coordinate, connect and collaborate with governments and experts and other key stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice and information to support government leadership of evidence-based RRE.

Provide expert advice and information to support development and delivery of evidence based and high-quality prevention infrastructure and activity in schools.

About you

You will have a strong policy background, coupled with a detailed understanding of the prevention of violence against women evidence base and/or the Australian education system, with a particular focus on RRE. You will have an ability to work collaboratively and with governments and stakeholders across jurisdictions to contribute to and guide RRE nationally, including through continuing to build the evidence base in relation to RRE.
